I found a couple sights. They have cute wall quotes and ideas if you are looking for some. I am always looking for cute quotes. I cut them out of 'wall pops' with my cricut.
We cut one for my sister that says..
"I have a kitchen because it came with the house."
Here are a couple in my home..
Adhering Thoughts - I think this one is LDS owned, they have a lot of LDS quotes!

Get-R-Done Group!
Hello Ladies,
~I will be taking over the Get-R-Done Enrichment group as Sis. Andrea Swenson has recently moved. We will still be meeting the first Thursday of each month starting at 7:00pm. We took a couple months off for summer, and because I have been traveling so much, but travels are over, summer is coming to an end, and I am excited to get this going again.
~I also will have a craft every other month that you are welcome to come and learn (with very little or no cost) starting in September. In September we will be learning how to make little baby booties. They are so cute, and don't take long to make. Here is a picture of them! I will also have a pair to show in Relief Society soon. This is an optional project. If you would like to learn how to make them, Great! (I will soon be getting together a list of the things you need to bring..ie..scissors, scrap fabric.) If not, that is totally fine, still bring your own projects and come and enjoy some socializing while you get-r-done! I am excited! I will need an RSVP so I know how many would like to make the shoes, but I will ask for that in a different e-mail soon. ~Hope to see you there (here!). Also if you have any easy, fun crafts that you would like to make or show how to make, leave a comment and let me have your ideas so we can work them in! Thanks a bunch!

Get-R-Done Enrichment Group - (reposted)
~~So, I didn't make this one, my mom did..for Gideon. But they are super easy to make. If you would like to learn how, let me know!
~~I'm going to host the Get-R'-Done Enrichment Group after this summer is over. Our idea is to have a craft each month that is optional for people to make. They will not be more that a couple dollars..or a bring-your-own supplies type thing... then, if you don't want to make the craft, you can bring your own stuff, whatever you are working on and "Get-R'-Done". The idea is still pending approval, but I am excited! I have been trying to come up with some ideas. Let me know what ideas you have. What crafts and things you want to learn how to make! I have been told that people want learn to make the little shoes that I make, quiet books, and some FHE pack ideas (let me know specifics).
~~My other ideas are: some appliquéd onesies (as on my blog also-neckties), baby carriers, nursing covers, maybe people can teach us different techniques... decoupaging/painting tips, basic crocheting, knitting or sewing to get us started, felt food (I have a new favorite crafter's blog I go to a lot), aprons, 1 hour bags, organizing ideas, genealogy ideas, picture blocks, crafty Christmas gift ideas, digi/paper scrap ideas, make birthday/thank you/get well cards, Recipe swap/book ideas, cake decorating, woodwork ideas, FHE boards, I don't know..I'm just pulling these out of the air..what are you interested in? I will need a definite pattern and idea each month -and a teacher as needed. Fast and easy ideas would be best!
~~Thanks for your ideas! Also want to share this way cute idea.. look at this mail center/play house! Stay tuned to 'My Swanky Crafts' for upcoming crafts I am working on!

Private Family Blog Permission
My family blog use to be private and has been open to the public for a while. Because I write a lot of personal info on my blog, I have been thinking of going back private for a while, and I will soon be . This will just be for my family blog (my craft and food blog will still be open). I will be 'publishing' my craft blog soon, and don't want just anyone to have access to my personal family blog. Please leave a note and let me know if you would like me to send you a permission invite so you can continue to see my family blog. Thanks, Ashlee
Chair covers
I just got back from my last trip of the summer. I have been visiting family and attending my sisters wedding reception this last weekend. While I was there, my mom asked if I wanted to bring a couple chairs home with me, but the BADLY needed recovering. I decided if I brought them back, I would have to cover them before I came home, or it would take a while for me to "get around to it", and then they would just be cluttering up my home. So, I found some cute fabric and a pattern and went to work. I came home a couple days late, but here is the finished product! (If you click on the pic, it will enlarge) They took a while, but I am happy with them!

Clocks
I got a 4 foot board from Lowe's and had them cut it down to a square (about 3). Had my dad route it. I sanded it all down, painted the edges, glued the paper onto the board with mod podge after I cut the paper to the right size. Sanded the edges of the paper down so they won't lift and touched up the paint a little. Drilled a hole through the back and got the clock kit from Wal-Mart for $5. It was fun to make. On the white one I also used some rub ons for accents.

Magnet Board
A couple quick magnet boards I made. They are super easy. I got a (3)pack of cookie sheets from Wal-Mart for $3.89, took the middle size and glued some scrapbook paper to the back. Drilled some holes through the top and fed a ribbon through. They were fun to make and the containers will hold embellishments and pins for my crafts.
Much cheaper than buying sheet metal, and aren't as heavy duty as the cookie sheets that I use in my kitchen.
