Watch Band

Okay, so..I was quite the busy crafter while on vacation! Probably more than I would have done at home all summer..but it has gotten me excited for crafting again!

I made the pink and green one at my cousins house..The pearls are from Grandma’s old pearl necklace, so it has sentimental value as well..I’m not sure if they’re real or not, but they were really hers when she was younger! The other I made after I got home.

Next week I’ll be making a Super Hero cape for my boy and also attending a Fall Festival and CRAFT FAIR!! I LOVE going to look and see all the cute stuff people come up with! Who knows, maybe next year I’ll have a booth! :)..maybe!

Bracelets

A couple cute little bracelets. My friends baby was wearing one last I saw her and it was so cute!..hope they will fit! I'll make more to match her outfits as I get them.

Jewelry Kick

Okay, I told myself I wasn't going to get into the jewelry/beading thing because that is a whole nother ball game of supplies and such, but, I have succumbed anyway! I made some things over the weekend while I was with my mom. She has been making jewelry for a while now and let me use a little of her stuff to get started. Anyway, here are a couple things I had fun making. The earrings are just the start to another set I am working on.

Pot Luck

A new Enrichment Group was started in my ward..each month a bunch of ladies get together and bring some pot luck food item (tonight was appetizers) and we'll do a craft or game or something each month. Tonight we made jewelry. It was really fun! And so easy. Jewelry isn't something I have gotten into yet myself..I think I'll wait a little while longer still because of the space I don't have right now. That is a WHOLE 'nother ball field of things to buy and learn and have stored up! I need a craft room before I get into any MORE projects..I already have my Sewing and Scrapbooking and such.. and I just recently started a cake decorating class with a friend.. so I'll be putting cake pics up soon, but for now, here is some jewelry I made tonight!
