I was thinking I will probably also make some burp cloths or some booties or something with the remnants just for fun. I love these fabrics and the flannel has been perfect for these projects.

Baby Sling Factory

Chalkboard Placemat
tip: If you choose to paint your chalkboard make sure to let it sit the full 24 hours to dry, because as it dries it shrinks the fabric a little. You don't want to go sewing everything together before it shrinks up or it will ruin your project! Otherwise, Little Birdie Secrets has some sites you can buy chalk oil cloth from..it runs on average about $10/yard from what I have researched.

Baby Sling and Nursing Cover
Here are a couple things I made today! You can find the sling instructions here: MyKarmaBaby and I kinda' came up with the nursing cover on my own. I'll be making a few more as my sister and a bunch of my friends are all expecting, but this one is for me!! I'll post a how-to for the nursing cover when I get to it! I made them out of flannel that I got from Jo-Anns.. it is 50% off this week, so I got it for about $3/yard. I was excited!!

I was actually surprised my son fit in it, because it is made for an infant. I don't know what gender baby I am having yet, so I found this fun fabric that can be good for either and fits my personality too! They are both lined with the green fabric that you see in the strap of the nursing cover.

Chair and Stroller
Here's another quick blog.
You Can Make This
I'm almost through my first trimester. Haven't been feeling too well and have had to put the crafting aside for a little bit. But I hope to be back soon! Thanks for sticking around!
Here are a couple fun projects that my parents made for my son for Christmas! He loves them.
They are made out of PVC Pipe, then my mom sewed the fabric for them. I can't seem to get him to smile for my pictures lately! It's just the phase I guess!
